Condition: In overall good condition with soft handling creases, and several minor stains in the margins. Some residual adhesive marks at the left edge. Image clean otherwise.

"This design was meant to go into the crescent space in a proposed "Pavilion of Man" project for the 1900 Paris World's Fair, but it was never realized.
The image is a romantic allegory of Time watching a maiden as autumn leaves blow out of her hand; a poignant image explained by the caption: "the passing wind takes youth away."
