This solitaire is totally pervaded by a romantic and ancient taste, capable of taking us on a journey back in time, immersing us in the past and making us daydream. Made almost 100 years ago, it is a jewel entirely designed and made by hand, just as the materials are also handcrafted. It is decorated by a single stone, a rosette-cut diamond estimated at half a carat (approximately 0.50 ct), inserted inside a bezel shaped to make it appear to be composed of many petals, with the edge curved and bent towards the internal, which is part of a setting entirely in 18K white gold. Rosette cut diamonds are among the stones that are most capable of creating that link with the past that makes period jewels so fascinating: this cut finds its origins around the 16th century and is characterized by a more contained sparkle and for a more sensual and delicate shine; a characteristic, this, due precisely to the consequences of the cut, finding in fact a faceted and domed upper part and a completely flat base. The flat base allows light to move through the stone, resulting in a more transparent glow and subtler shine than a modern brilliant with its peaked culet. Since rosette diamonds are cut by hand, they have a stunning and more than charming irregular shape, resulting in the fact that it is (almost) impossible to find two identical rosette diamonds. If you are looking for an accessory to wear for yourself or a loved one that is comfortable, aesthetically beautiful and handmade, but which is also a piece of history, coming directly from the past. It goes without saying that it also represents the perfect jewel for a marriage proposal! NB: The ring has a natural oxidation due to the passage of time which can be removed on request and at no additional cost; in the case of measurement the ring will be automatically polished. EPOCH : 20s / 30s SIZE : 10 (editable) NB: To change the size, check the box for the purchase of the measurement, click “Add to cart” and write in the notes the size to which you want to wear the ring. DIMENSIONS : Diameter: 1cm Depth: 0,8 cm WEIGHT : 2.6 g CONDITIONS : Excellent condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with the age of the jewel. For more information regarding the state of the jewel, read the next section "Additional information" ADDITIONAL INFORMATION : The stone weights indicated in carats represent approximate weights, taken with the stones set, which can therefore vary slightly. Given the age and the fact that they are handcrafted jewels (and not in series), our antique and vintage jewels are often not perfect and may show normal signs of surface wear, small imperfections and / or scratches, possibly present both on the parts in gold than on stones. But this is exactly what makes each piece special and unique! NB: All our jewels are unique pieces, no one is alike! If you like it don't miss it ______________________________________
